There are a number of different models for Emotional Intelligence, huddled around two main types.  I won’t bore you with the details.  The model below (which I am certified to use) is a great example and the categories are instructive.

Taking the test, particularly on a 360-degree basis can be really instructive, but just looking at and thinking about the categories one by one can also be productive.

Each of these can open up a huge range of self-analytical avenues which can be highly constructive.
